Liyari Independent Living Center (LILC)

As we know that Liyari is the most backward area in Karachi there is no kind of education and health facilities for PWD’s. In these kind of situation disabled welfare association took a very great initiative to empowerment of PWD’s of Liyari in shape of Liyari independent living centre(LILC) this is a unique offer for those who were confined at there house corner or we can say those kind of PWD’s awaiting there death. Now DWA launch a project (LILC).

WHAT IS ( LILC )

Everyone is dependent at one or another time for one or another task supporting one another is part of social life independent living does not mean 100% independency. Independent living mean living a life of your choice and reducing dependency on others.
It is the project for savior disabilities is more important for PWD’s to learn to live independent because mostly PWD’s low steam due to the attitude of our society towards their disability. And through ( LILC )teach and polish of life of PWD’s and make them useful for country. Changing the thoughts of society that they can not do.They can do every thing for all these we need a centre to serve the purpose and (LILC) is ready to serve PWD’s for PWD’s (LILC) learn has 8 years experience in the field.
